Before you can set up a test, you need to install the AB Tasty tag on your site. This process only takes a few minutes.
To find this tag, go to
> Settings > Tags implementation > Generic tag.

Copy the content of the synchronous tag and paste it between the <head> and </head> tags of your pages. Once the tag has been installed, you donโt have to worry about it anymore because this tag is not a testing tag; it is your account tag.
We recommend that you place the code in the <head> section of your pages so changes are displayed more quickly. Otherwise, a flickering effect may occur: your visitors may see the original page for a fraction of a second before they see the modified page. By calling our tag as high in the source code of your page as possible, our script can apply the changes before the content is displayed.
It is essential that the tag be placed on every page. This is how we measure whether your objectives are attained, even if they donโt concern the page being tested. For example, you can test a new design for your product page, and measure its impact on your conversion rate, which happens later, on the checkout confirmation page. Furthermore, if the tag is not present on all of the pages, the calculations of some indicators like the bounce rate or the time spent on the time may be skewed.
