Amplitude is a Product Analytics company. Their service tracks user interactions across different sources (web, mobile, API, etc.) and helps measure product usage by building custom reports.
Linking a campaign to Amplitude
If you use Amplitude, you can link it with an ABTasty campaign by opening the Advanced options step of your campaign settings.
If you want to enable the Amplitude integration on every new campaign by default, simply go to your account’s Integration settings in Settings > Integrations > Web Analytics tools, and toggle it on.
How to check that the integration is working
👍 |
This integration relies on the presence of the Amplitude SDK in the webpage's global scope. You can make sure this is the case by running "window.amplitude" in your developer tool console. If it isn’t undefined, the integration can work. |
To test this integration please open Amplitude’s User Look-Up interface, enable the “Live event updates mode”, and browse any page of your website on which an ABTasty campaign is running.
You’ll soon appear in the list of visitors. Click on your visitor to open the Event Stream sub-section. In this view, you can see a timeline of a recent event triggered by any user, and you can inspect any event by clicking on it.
If the integration is working, you’ll see two new User Properties enriching your user profile:
- ABTasty.Test: the list of tests to which the user has been exposed
- ABTasty.Variation: the variations to which the user has been assigned
ABTasty User Attributes are stored in arrays because a user can be exposed to many campaigns and multiple variations, as shown below:

If you don't see ABTasty User Properties in the User Look Up interface, please check if you're using strict settings regarding new User Properties. If this is the case, please authorize our User Properties by following the instructions on this paget. |
